Expedition Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 17 2026

1. Deposit

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot on this Connecticut Scuba Academy Inc. (“CTSA”) expedition. This deposit is fully refundable until final pricing has been determined and communicated to all participants. Once final pricing is confirmed, the deposit becomes non‑refundable and will be applied toward your total trip cost.

2. Payments

Expedition payments are 100% refundable more than 90 days before the start date, 50% refundable 90 to 65 days before the start date, and non‑refundable at 64 days or less. No‑shows or missed travel or dive activities are considered non‑refundable cancellations.

3. Requirements & Insurance

Participants are responsible for meeting all training, certification, and medical requirements prior to engaging in any dive activities. CTSA strongly recommends both dive accident insurance and travel insurance.

4. Documents & Itinerary

All travelers are responsible for maintaining valid passports, visas, and compliance with destination entry requirements. CTSA may adjust itineraries, dive schedules, or activities due to weather, safety considerations, operator availability, or other factors outside its control. Partner dive operators may be substituted when necessary.

5. Conduct

CTSA expects all participants to follow safe diving practices, respect local laws and customs, and behave responsibly throughout the trip. Unsafe conduct, harassment, disruptive behavior, or violation of safety standards may result in removal from activities or the trip without refund.
